The TowerPro MG996R is a high-performance, high-torque digital standard servo motor engineered as the advanced, re-designed upgrade to the classic MG995. This heavy-duty actuator features a rugged, precision-cut full-metal gear train supported by dual internal ball bearings. It is specifically designed to eliminate the positioning jitter, centering issues, and fragile gear stripping common in entry-level plastic servos. Operating with an optimized internal digital microcontroller, it delivers rapid response times, highly accurate positioning, and massive holding power under sustained mechanical stress.
